Project Space 11, 2010-11
Project Space 11 was an artist-led space in Plymouth that operated out of a small unit in a busy indoor market. The space worked alongside traders and with input from the market community, but also engaged critically with the wider artist-led community.
The initiative aimed to create opportunities for discourse and exchange with other artist-led spaces and delivered a series of exhibitions and events in the market and off-site, working with a range of established and emerging artists.
The project was initiated and delivered by Scott Daniels, Beth Emily Richards and Bryony Gillard and supported by Plymouth City Council.
Project Space 11 worked with a wide range of established and emerging artists including: The Hut Project, Craig Barnes, Dean Knight, Steven Paige, Townley and Bradby, Thorsten Knaub, Jonty Lees, Josh Greet, Christopher Green, Rhys Coren, Ellie Harrison, Eva and Franco Mattes, LOW PROFILE, Bruce Asbestos, Emma Smith and Jessica Warboys.
